Our Guarantee
A guarantee is only worth what is written on your invoice. This page sets out what should appear there, so you know what to look for before you sign anything.
Written Pricing Before Work Starts
The single non-negotiable. A number you have agreed to, in writing, before anything is dismantled. Willow Creek Comfort Co. will not refer you to anyone who declines to do that.
Two Separate Warranties
People conflate these constantly, and the difference matters when something fails.
- The manufacturer parts warranty covers the equipment itself, typically five to ten years, and usually requires registration within sixty to ninety days of installation plus documented annual servicing to stay valid.
- The contractor workmanship warranty covers the installation — the labour, the connections, the commissioning. It is set by the contractor and is commonly one to two years.
A compressor that fails in year seven is a parts claim. A refrigerant line that leaks at a joint made during installation is a workmanship claim. Knowing which is which saves an argument.
What a Fair Job Looks Like
- Diagnosis explained with the actual readings, not a verdict
- The old part left for you to see
- Permit filed with the City of Centennial where the work requires one
- System re-tested under load before the technician leaves
- Invoice showing what was done, what was fitted, and what is covered
If Something Goes Wrong
Contact the contractor who did the work first — they hold the warranty and they are the ones who can put it right. If that goes nowhere, tell us through the contact page. A professional who will not stand behind their own work does not stay on the referral list.
Specific warranty terms are set by the contractor performing the work and by the equipment manufacturer. Always read what is written on your own quote and invoice — that document, not this page, is your agreement.
