Service Areas

Centennial is the base, but heating and cooling problems do not stop at a city line. The area covered here runs from the estate lots of Cherry Hills Village in the west across to the Smoky Hill corridor in south Aurora — and the housing changes completely along the way.

Each area below has its own page because each genuinely behaves differently. A page that repeated the same text with the city name swapped would tell you nothing, and it is not what any of these are.

Areas Covered

  • South Aurora — 80015, 80016 and 80013 along the Smoky Hill corridor. Newer, tighter construction where the faults are overwhelmingly zoning and controls rather than worn-out equipment. Wind downdraught on exposed roofs is a genuine cause of intermittent lockouts here.
  • Cherry Hills Village — acre-plus lots, custom homes, multiple systems under one roof and a meaningful number of surviving cast-iron boilers. Access and finish protection matter as much as the mechanical work.
  • Greenwood Village — two cities in one. Estate homes west of Holly, and Tech Center townhomes where the HOA frequently decides what may be fitted at all.
  • Centennial itself — Southglenn, Willow Creek, Piney Creek, Foxridge, Smoky Hill and Walnut Hills, across six ZIP codes. Covered from the main service pages.

Why Elevation Matters Across All of It

The area covered spans roughly 5,400 to 5,800 feet. Air thins as you climb, and a gas furnace burns fuel by mixing it with air, so the same appliance delivers meaningfully less heat than its sea-level rating.

The correction is made when gas pressure is set at commissioning. It frequently is not, and the consequence appears as recurring faults rather than obvious underperformance — flame sensors fouling early, igniters cycling more than they were designed to, components reaching end of life several years ahead of schedule.

If the same part has failed twice in three years, the question is not which brand of replacement part is being fitted. It is what the manifold pressure was set to, and at what elevation.

Four Cities, Four Permit Offices

This catches out contractors who work the whole metro. Centennial, Aurora, Greenwood Village and Cherry Hills Village each issue their own mechanical permits through their own building departments. None of them goes through Arapahoe County.

Filing with the wrong office delays the inspection, and an unpermitted gas appliance is not a paperwork problem until you sell the house. Ask which office before work starts, and ask for the signed-off inspection afterwards.

What Is Covered Everywhere

The full range travels: air conditioning repair, heating repair, furnace replacement, heat pump installation, heat pump repair and ductless mini-splits. The services page sets out what each involves and roughly what it costs.

How Far Is Too Far

Roughly twenty-five minutes from Centennial. That puts south Aurora at the eastern edge and Cherry Hills Village at the western one. It is a deliberate limit.

A company claiming to cover the entire Front Range either has a very large team or is quietly quoting a drive it has no intention of making at eleven at night. For a no-heat call in January, a firm twenty minutes away beats one that claims everywhere and takes ninety.

If you are just outside the list, it is still worth asking. Englewood, Littleton and parts of Lone Tree fall naturally inside the same radius even though they do not have their own page yet.

Willow Creek Comfort Co. keeps the coverage area tight so that same-day genuinely means same-day.

We also serve Littleton, CO, directly bordering Centennial along University and Santa Fe.
